For the topic of my NHD project, I had somewhat did a hat-pull, and that was what had been picked instead of the others. Although I do not enjoy the topic that much, I am determined to get this done and the best I can. Another reason I picked it was because I was listening to my favorite creator and they we’re talking about SHEIN and Temu, so I ended up picking it because they we’re Chinese.
What I do for my research? I would search up the topic and just surf the web till I find something good, a primary source, or a secondary source I could leech information on! I would use a small notebook, at my father's, and note down all the important without full sentences. Maybe after an hour of reading and such, I’d summarize it before going back to animating on Flash 8.
Starting the project wasn’t as easy as I picked up a website. I was too busy making small gifs for the website on Flash 8, and I was also too busy playing around with my Bandi cam. I did my project on Neocities, which has some limitations I dislike, like not being able to use music files, which means I can’t make it to where if you click on one of the gifs that acts like its talking, you can’t hear it. I like giving my characters their own voices, and it sucks I can’t now.
My historical argument is that China might have been better off with the KMT, seeing as how Tiawan is doing much better than China and has the same government that the KMT had preached. China would have a better economy, a longer life, and a much better and livable place. China is a one-party state, and pretty much the only way you’d live comfortably is by being ultra-rich and having good connections.
My topic is significant by shaping the world as it is today, mostly in Tiawan and China as for the people, the politics, how things are made and the laws. It would mark important in history for what it shaped our viewpoints on Communism, the government. The present and the future changes because of what happens in history, why almost everything is important to some extent.
(P.S, I'm not using the animations because none are finished and will take too long.)
